Nunavut Arts & Crafts Association

Since its foundation in 1998, the Nunavut Arts and Crafts Association (NACA) has worked to benefit Nunavut artists.
NACA is a non-profit incorporated society that supports and promotes the development and growth of Nunavut's arts and
crafts community through advocacy, communications, artist development, education and marketing.

We are in the midst of redesigning our website to improve usability for our visitors. In the meantime, to learn more about the art

The Nunavut Arts Festival

The Nunavut Arts Festival is an annual event that celebrates the art created in Nunavut. With the help of our amazing sponsors and partners we bring together the top artists from all over the territory. Artists have the chance to attend workshops, share their skills, network with artists and organizations and sell their work to an enthusiastic audience.

This festival will bring artists together to participate in demonstrations, workshops, and seminars and will be held in Cambridge Bay from August 20 to 26th, 2014. The 16th annual NAF will include workshops where artists will learn how to improve their artwork, price and sell their work and stay informed on art activities and opportunities that exist in Nunavut, across Canada and throughout the rest of the world.  This year, we will also place special attention on the future generations of artists by developing a mentor-mentee system within the festival participants.

Since 2010 The Nunavut Arts Festival has been rated the #1 festival in Nunavut by West Jet Canada. Each year we've seen growth in both artist participation and attendance during the week of the Festival. We encourage you to join us during the first week of July every year and experience the art created by the artists of Nunavut.
