Nunavut Arts & Crafts Association

Since its foundation in 1998, the Nunavut Arts and Crafts Association (NACA) has worked to benefit Nunavut artists.
NACA is a non-profit incorporated society that supports and promotes the development and growth of Nunavut's arts and
crafts community through advocacy, communications, artist development, education and marketing.

We are in the midst of redesigning our website to improve usability for our visitors. In the meantime, to learn more about the art
and artists of Nunavut, follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or sign up for our e-mail newsletter below!

Welcome from NACA’s Chairperson of the Board

Elisapi D. AningmiuqIt is with great pleasure that I would like to welcome artists and art lovers alike to the 14th annual Nunavut Arts Festival!

For the last thirteen years, the Nunavut Arts and Crafts Association has hosted an amazing week-long celebration of some of the best art and artists Nunavut has to offer.  Our territory is filled with extremely talented individuals who take part in unique forms of art-making, both traditional and modern.  From carvers to sewers, Nunavut is home to artists and artisans of all kinds.  It is our pleasure to bring so many great minds under one roof and to invite you, the public, to take up this great opportunity to meet the artists, learn from them through our workshops, and perhaps even take home one of their creations during our Art Fair or Auction.  The Nunavut Arts Festival is truly a one-of-a-kind event in Nunavut and the biggest celebration of arts and crafts in the territory.

I and everyone at the Nunavut Arts & Crafts Association hope to see you at the festival!

Thank you,
Elisapi D. Aningmiuq
Chairperson of the Nunavut Arts & Crafts Association Board
