Yearly grants from $20,000 to $100,000 are open to artist-run centres that provide visual artists and their audiences with an informed, professional forum for research, production, presentation, promotion and dissemination of new contemporary visual artworks. The program also contributes to discussions, symposiums or publications on visual arts issues. All costs except capital costs are eligible for funding. New applicants must have maintained an annual program of activities, accessible to the public, for at least three consecutive years.
